Full Time Operations Manager (Dallas, TX or Remote)

About Texas Census Institute

The Texas Census Institute (TxCI) is a nonprofit organization that conducts research, shares information, and engages cross-sector partnerships to engender census participation from all Texans.

The 2020 Census resulted in a 547,968 person undercount in Texas, potentially costing Texans almost $25 Billion in lost federal funds by 2031 and causing the loss of one U.S. House Seat. As Texas grows, robust census participation will help leaders make sound policy decisions, wise investments, and appropriate resource allocations so Texas remains a great place to live and work. The Texas Census Institute will help secure a complete count in 2030, restore lost funding, and ensure representation for all Texans.

Vision

Our vision is nonpartisan engagement across the public and social sectors to drive census participation so all Texans – newly arrived or here for generations – have access to the resources they need to thrive.

Mission

The Texas Census Institute’s research, partnerships, and education deliver nonpartisan, data-driven, and trusted policy guidance and encourage broad-based census participation, helping to drive a strong economy and sustain healthy communities so all Texans can enjoy a great quality of life.
